Hannah Wright, RECE

Founder + Founder

Hannah is the founder and president of The Wright Spot. A refined and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator, Hannah has over ten years of experience as a babysitter, summer camp leader, and nanny. She graduated with her diploma from George Brown College in 2014 with the goal of owning her own studio, and did just that two years later when our first program was created. Hannah is a warm-hearted educator focused on creating meaningful experiences in a nurturing environment for all children. Her calming and loving nature is welcoming to those around her, with a committed dedication to the children and families who are a part of our studio.

Cheyene Bemister, RECE

Assistant Director + Preschool

Cheyene is a Registered Early Childhood Educator, who received her diploma from Sheridan College in 2016. With experiences in Full Day Kindergarten, organized childcare, as well as Montessori learning environments, she adopts a positive and nurturing style within the classroom. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood through the University of Guelph-Humber, while teaching part-time in our Preschool Program. Cheyene also takes on an administrative role within our studio, managing the distribution of all information and maintaining an open line of communication with parents and families.

Tisha Mackinnon

Morning + After School Program + Preschool Assistant

Tisha is a certified Child and Youth Worker, with ample experience working with children of all ages in various educational and recreational settings. She graduated from George Brown College in 2015 and is a dedicated team member teaching in our Before + After School Classes. Tisha enjoys expressing herself through art, and loves sharing her passion for all things creative with the children. When she is not at the studio, Tisha spends her time working in the JUMP child minding room at GoodLife Fitness, and having fun with her daughter. As a mother herself, Tisha understands the importance of maintaining a caring and inclusive environment for all.

Crystal Goss, RECE

After School Program + Preschool Assistant

Crystal is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who received her diploma from George Brown College in 2014. As a result of multiple years of work experience as a caring and compassionate nanny to several families in our neighbourhood, Crystal is both known and appreciated within our community. She treats all children and families with warmth and care, and is always focused on demonstrating respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Her creativity and flexibility ensures that all children are able to engage in experiences that stimulate their positive growth and development.

Jordan Duke

Morning + After School Program

Jordan is an asset to our After School Classes team. With multiple experiences in childcare and recreational settings, Jordan understands the importance of patience and flexibility when working with young children. He has been involved with many sports organizations, acting as a coach for children and youth within our community. In his free time, Jordan enjoys being active, and as a result, shares that interest with the children as part of our Active Movement + Motor Skills Classes.

Ethan Haskim

After School Program

Ethan has been a dedicated and dependable member of The Wright Spot for the past two years. He brings a sense of joy and fun to our programming and is always eager to show initiative in any way possible. In his spare time, Ethan spends time outdoors with his dog and enjoys babysitting in our community.

Lauren Dos Santos

After School Program

Lauren is a responsible member of our team who enjoys interacting with children of all ages. Creativity and inclusivity are closely aligned with Lauren’s practice as she is confidently able to develop appropriate program plans for our littlest ones, with regard for all levels and abilities. Lauren is looking forward to continuing to learn about the best ways to support children and their development.

Jade Jacobis

After School Program

Jade is an enthusiastic and supportive member of our team who has worked in the field of child and youth care for many years. Before joining us, Jade volunteered at day camps in the area and became a leader at Rookie League Day Camp. In addition to this, Jade has worked at Artstarts, Mural Routes, GoodLife Fitness Child Minding, and the Toronto District School Board. Working with children excites Jade as he is able to influence their positive growth and development.
